It's pretty cute because Daniel loves books, especially ones that rhyme. His favorite book by far is "I Can Fly." It's a pretty simple book with simple rhymes, and Emily and I have memorized it so any time Daniel gets fussy, all we have to do is start reciting it and he calms right down. Needless to say, story time has become part of his bedtime routine. And he loves to hold the book while we read and try to turn the pages.
That is so cute! Do you have any of the Sandra Boynton board books? Those are always favorites around here, especially "Moo, Baa, La, La, La" which is my go to story for reciting as we climb into bed and I'm too lazy to actually get a book out....:) welcome to the blogging world!
